It would contain all important items needed in fly tying like the feathers, thread, vise, scissors, bobbins, hooks and clamps. This kit may be a start of an expensive hobby of fly tying.

The artificial flies used in fly tying are very much like the real bugs and insects in different types and species. Which one to use depends on the fish you want to catch. It would help to look at the area where you intend to fish and observe the real insects that are in or on the water. Use the same type of bugs, which will surely have a fly replica in the stores, to attract the fishes on that same spot.
Tying flies would mean winding one element onto another on the hook. A finished product would consist of a body, a tail, wings and a head with eyes. There are many ways of tying flies and beginners may try doing the easiest ones at first. Just be patient and in no time, you will be able to do all the complicated types of fly tying.
